each year, 3.5 million teachers spend and average of $500 in out-of-pocket expenses on classroom supplies-just because they love and believe in their students.
Teacher Trading Post is an online donation and trading center that connects new, used and in-kind donations with our nation’s schools all year long.
Teachers who have retired or left the classroom for one reason or another have many resources that they don’t know what to do with. This is where we come in.

Vision
Our Vision is for St. Louis Metro Area to have an outlet for acquiring and donating reusable material. Upcycle Treasure Box meets this need, we move closer to a community where all waste materials can be rediscovered for their educational and creative value.
Mission
Our mission is to inspire creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the creative community.
Upcycle Treasure Box is a Creative Reuse Center that sells materials and resources by the pound.
We will achieve our mission and vision through strategic initiatives at our center with the retail shop and event space. Along with events at schools and in the community. We take donations and sell it at a $1.00 a pound.
